About Making A Donation
This website is devoted to telling the story of Patrick's PALS and FRAXA in hopes of gaining your support. Raising awareness of Fragile X syndrome (FXS), the most common inherited cause of autism and intellectual disabilities worldwide, has always been priority one for us. FRAXA’s mission, to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Fragile X syndrome, requires us to include a second priority - raising money. FRAXA directly funds research grants and fellowships at top universities around the world and prioritizes the funding of Fragile X clinical trials.

What will a cure for Fragile X look like? Will it be a daily pill, a weekly protein injection, or a one-time gene therapy infusion? Will it be combinations of medicines, tailored to each individual? The answer is probably all of the above. The cure for Fragile X isn’t a pipe dream. It’s a process, and FRAXA is right in the thick of it. FRAXA Research Foundation is working tirelessly to deliver effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Fragile X syndrome!
